The new marvel of U.S. rap, Kendrick Lamar , continues to promote his debut album Good Kid, Maad city with the posting of a new video that shows the title Backseat Freestyle Music Video Result (above).
The latter speaks of dreams, and incidentally ascent of the Eiffel Tower, is thus shown a clip that quickly traces the career of the young rapper to his hometown of Compton, a suburb of Los Angeles, where also up Coolio , Dr. Dre or The Game in Paris, city of light synonymous with some success. The video was co-directed by Lamar himself , Jerome D (who had previously worked on the clip Swimming Pools ) and Dave Free, while the song is prod aped Hit-Boy (to whom we owe Goldie A $ AP Rocky, Niggas in Paris by Kanye West and Jay-Z or Drop The World by Lil Wayneand Eminem ).
Backseat Freestyle is extracted from Good kid, Maad city , the first installment of Kendrick Lamar released in October. Extremely well received by both critics and the public, the album has sold some 242,000 copies in its first week of operation is the best first-week sales of the year and the Atlantic- was certified gold in December (500,000 copies).
