Les Miserables: "Why did not you cast actors who are good singers?"

Tom Hooper should give a chance for professional singers, judge Adam Lambert, a former candidate for American Idol.
Adam Lambert was tried by a jury of American Idol during the eighth season of the show. Turnaround, he set himself up to criticism about her Twitter this weekend, expressing his disappointment at Miserables , the movie event Tom Hooper . This adaptation of the cult musical 80s should get some Oscar nominations, after its success at the Golden Globes where he was selected in the following categories : Best Musical, Best Actor in a Musical ( Hugh Jackman ), best actress in a Supporting Role ( Anne Hathaway ) and Best Song (Suddendly).
Adam Lambert caused a stir by giving its opinion on the film. If the majority of critics seem to enjoy (71% positive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes ), it has not been conquered by the song:
- "Les Mis: visually impressive and full of emotions and good performance, but the soundtrack suffers heavily interpretations of some of the actors who CLAIM to be singers.."
- "It is an opera Musical films made in Hollywood feel that the song is not a priority (except for. Dreamgirls , which was good) "
- "Anne Hathaway as Fantine and Enjolras were the exceptions of the film."
- "Helena B. Carter and Sasha B. Cohen were as good."
- "I thought it was cool that they sing for real, but with this cast, they should record the songs in the studio and smooth voice."
- "And the voice of Eponine was cool"
- "I tried to ignore the voice and focus on emotions, but some songs déconcentraient me too."
- "In the industry, people will say, 'These players were brave to sing these songs live," but why not cast actors who are good singers? "
- "Sorry to be so frank, but it's true!"
- "I'm glad this discussion I grew up with this musical and I think I was expecting a lot from this adaptation I do not want to show me negative..."
- "One last clarification: Go see the movie for Anne Hathaway's performance it is breathtaking."
These few tweets received hundreds of responses and RT just after posting and even Russell Crowe reacted on its own account , a fan asked him if he had read the reactions of Adam Lambert: "I'm not disagree with Adam. course voices could be softened. Hooper wanted it to sound 'real' and gross. Such is the case. "
Les Misérables works well in the United States since its release on Christmas Day. It has already paid its budget of $61 million. In a humorous way, the film has been another memorable critical where the editor nicknamed the actors by the names of their iconic characters (Hugh Jackman is Wolverine, Anne Hathaway, Catwoman, etc.): "I went to see Les Miserables with my wife. We saw this obscure feature film, a French film, I think, I had never heard before. (...) In the beginning, Wolverine starts bawling. then Catwoman arrives, she sings and crying at the same time it is very moving (...) To summarize, then:. Gladiator Wolverine flees as Catwoman had a baby with Borat and Wolverine wants to take care of her time elapses , children are killed and in the end, everyone dies. I put it four stars."
